Dr. Ray Wisniewski - Antibiotics in Our Food

Over-use of antibiotics is crating resistant bacteria which cills more than 63,000 per year.

The Union of Concerned Scientists alleges that 70% of the antibiotic use is due to animals that are vulnerable to disease because of crowded and unsanitary conditions.  This percentage is on the rise.

What can we do to avoid this?  Buy from local farms where you can actually see the conditions of the farm.  Cattle that are grass fed.  If no local farms, check the packaging, does is state that it is hormone and antibiotic free?

Always educate yourself so you know what you are putting in your body!
