Dr. Ray Wisniewski - Poison in Processed Foods

Sodium Nitrate is used as a "color fixer" in most all processed meats.  It is used to make dead, gray meat look fleshyl red.  It is added to bacon, hot dogs, pepperoni, sausage and most other processed meats.  It will be listed on the ingredients section.

Evidence has been shown that this chemical causes:

  • a 40% higher risk in diabetes
  • a 74% higher risk in leukemia
  • a 67% higher risk in pancreatic cancer

The USDA tried to ban this poison since the 1970's, but it was overruled by the meat industry because the chemical makes their products appear more appealing.

This is why it is so important that we all educate ourselves on what we are putting into our own bodies and those we care about.
